Resident Physician
Dr. Easton is a 36 years old Medical Doctor by profession. He was born in Georgetown, Guyana, where he was schooled until he left for Cuba to study as a medical doctor; after training, he returned to Guyana to serve his country. Dr. Easton spent three years in New Amsterdam, after which he moved back to his hometown Georgetown to work in cardiology intensive care at Georgetown Public Hospital, exposing him to the nephrology department, his newfound passion. He worked for two years as a General Practitioner under Guyana Chief Nephrologist Consultant carrying out duties such as monitoring patients, analyzing and interpreting lab results and assisting in weekly nephrology clinics.
Dr. Ruackel later joined the field of industrial medicine, working for gold mining companies as a Medical field doctor, landing him a position in the oil and gas sector with medical duties not limited to health and safety for oil companies’ onshore base. Despite being in the oil and gas sector, Dr. Ruacke still finds the time to meet with his Dialysis Patients as he continues to dabble in the field of Nephrology. Dr. Ruackel’s love for Nephrology was impacted tremendously from seeing the daily outcome of his service to patients living with this life-threatening complication not known to many: Chronic Kidney Disease. Dr. Ruackel has subsequently, with my close friend to start up a dialysis center in Guyana. We currently serve the people in a state-of-the-art dialysis center with a team of doctors and highly trained nurses at two locations.
